JDG: Let the party begin!
A tight but consistent field
Of the six runners in the Cygames Grand Prix de Paris (Gr1), he is the only one trained outside France, but he is also the most highly rated of the bunch. Trinity College (Dubawi), trained by Aidan O'Brien, finished fourth, one length behind, in the Qatar Prix du Jockey Club (Gr1). His jockey Wayne Lordan pushed hard to get to the front, and the race was effectively decided among the front runners. He then won the Hampton Court Stakes (Gr3) at Royal Ascot by a clear margin and was due to run in the German Derby. Aidan O'Brien preferred Longchamp to Hamburg, which is probably a sign, but Trinity College is far from being a bogey horse, which leaves the French with plenty of hope.
