Group II victory at Ascot for great-grandson of Luciano mare Justine

The four-year-old No Nay Never son Never So Brave secured his first Group victory and black-type success in the Summer Mile Stakes (Gr.II) at Ascot.

He is a son of the Oasis Dream mare Chica Whopa, who is also responsible for the two-year-old Group winner Barraquero and the Listed winner Pirate Jenny.

The next dam is the two-year-old Listed winner and stakes dam Just Ice, bred by Professor Dr. Rohde, a Polar Falcon daughter out of the Friedrich Bähre-bred Lucinao mare Justine, who produced two further Listed winners in Always On A Sunday (by Star Appeal) and Palmetto Express (by Glint of Gold). Justine is a full sister to the multiple Group-placed Listed winner Justus, both of whom are descendants of the Birkhahn mare Joie d'Amour, also bred by Friedrich Bähre.
